Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly motivated Bookkeeper who is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy and enjoys tackling complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of relevant bookkeeping experience and possess a proactive "can-do" attitude, constantly striving for personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for bookkeeping activities across a range of clients including;

• Bank Account Reconciliations

• Journals

• Data Entry

• Payroll

• Business Activity Statements

• Understanding and maintaining accurate financial records

• Preparation of weekly and monthly financial dashboard reports for clients.

You also assist the practice manager in day-to-day ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

• 3 Years+ experience in relevant roles

• Bookkeeping knowledge and processes

• GST legislation

• Payroll & Superannuation

• Xero and XPM Practice Management Software preferred

• MYOB experience

• Competent in Microsoft programs and in particular excel & outlook

• Deputy, Receipt Bank/Dext and other Xero add-on experience is advantageous

• Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise your own workload and ensure deadline are met

• High attention to detail

• Excellent time management skills

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently
